- Season will run from November - May
- 2 Practices per week
- 4-5 Tournaments
- Price is $3500 for the season

*If you need to attend makeups, please register for the original date and send us an email to notify us that you will be at makeups instead.

TRYOUT FEES
$75 for online pre-registration OR $100 the day of tryouts. If accepted for the team, $500 deposit due at the end of tryouts to hold your spot.
SPECIAL PROMOTION
All players added to teams 13 years and under will only be charged $500 for the season! This is a great opportunity for anyone who may be new at the sport to come try out volleyball and learn what club volleyball is all about!
The fee will include all gym time, tournament fees, and uniforms.
PAPERWORK
Most Paperwork will be completed online during the registration process. The only thing you will need to bring with you is your active AAU membership. If you do not have one, please visit this site to sign up: AAU APPLICATION.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships and/or financial assistance are available. Please speak to your facility director for more information.
MAKEUPS
Teams are decided the day of. If you know you are unable to attend tryouts but want to be considered, please be sure to still register for your tryout time and communicate with OTVA Jax staff at kim@otva.org. If you do not register and do not communicate, we will be unable to take your position into consideration and there will be no makeup tryouts available.
2023-2024 Season Age Definitions
If you are unsure of what age group your child should be registered under, please follow the list below, or email Kim@otva.org with their current age and birthday, and she will let you know.
18 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1st, 2005 or are high school students in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during the current academic year and are 19 years of age or younger (born on or after July 1, 2004).
17 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
16 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
15 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
14 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
13 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
12 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
11 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
10 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013

Uniform Sizing will be completed on the day of tryouts. Please be sure to know your sports engine login so you can try on the items and submit your sizing.
A Note about Tryouts
Tryouts are a stressful process but we try to make it as comfortable for players and parents as possible. Although OTVA is recognized as the top club in Florida (and one of the top 3 in the country), we have players of all levels – from beginner to advanced. We form more teams and have more opportunities than any other club. Most of all, we don’t want anyone to feel intimidated.
OTVA offers the finest coaching and has established a winning and highly professional culture.

OTVA also offers scholarships to assist players that need financial assistance.
Just let your facility director know at the time you tryout.
Listed below are a few other important items:
• Although some players play “up,” we encourage players to play in their age group – your age group is determined based on your birthday,
• All players are required to try out in their respective cities – unless otherwise approved by the owner, Bob Gries.
